FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Former Skinny Jean Gardeners Reunite: “Brothers With” Launches Attraction in Japan.
After more than a decade developing their own distinct creative careers, brothers Lee and Dale Connelly have reunited to launch an ambitious new partnership: “Brothers With.”
The Brothers first came to national attention as the Skinny Jean Gardeners, inspiring families and schools across the UK to reconnect with nature through creativity, play, and hands-on learning. Now, ten years on, they return with a wider international focus — combining Lee’s expertise in children’s gardening and environmental education with Dale’s global work in immersive art, play, and creative health & wellbeing.
Their first major collaboration under “Brothers With” is already underway: the development of a new theme park attraction in Japan. The project will bring together gardening and art, creating a shared experience that celebrates nature and imagination.
“We’ve both grown our work in different directions, but the heart of it has always been the same,” says Lee Connelly. “We believe nature and creativity build stronger, happier communities. This project in Japan is just the beginning.”
“Reuniting now feels completely right,” adds Dale Connelly. “We’ve each developed our own creative language — and Brothers With is where those languages meet. It’s about collaboration across disciplines, cultures, and places.”
To mark the launch, the brothers have released a new documentary-style episode, filmed during their travels across Japan. The film explores the country’s artistic heritage, its profound cultural connection to gardens, and the early development of this new attraction.
